Thanks to those of you that sent well-wishes for my mom's surgery the other day. Everything went fine, I visited her tonight and she seems to be doing as well as she can be stuck in a hospital bed on a clear liquid diet (Yeah, kinda makes you go "ulgh" just thinking about it, right?). Finally saw Inception the other day.
Dr. Just-Friends came into town for an afternoon/evening so after I got off of work we met up with machi_neko and caught a late show and then had dinner at Applebees.

I though it was a very enjoyable, visually stimulating, action packed and just plain awesome movie. Kind of thinky, but not in the way that makes you feel ( Read more... )
